After Anna graduated from RISD in Industrial Design, she had a change of heart to either become a vet or an architect. She got her wish 20 years later to combine her passion for animals with design in architecture as a recent member of the Swatt Miers team. She has lived and worked as an architectural designer in Singapore, and Chicago and recently repatriated back in 2021 to the Bay Area with an expertise in large-scale transit projects to small residential interiors to embark on a new adventure in the animal care field. She enjoys collaborative work sessions with the client to achieve their goals with a practical sense of design.
Her other passion is traveling, with the goal of traveling to 40 countries by 40. With 2 imaginative kids to roll on the grass and build forts with, she is mostly home on her toes at all times. Anna is sometimes found DJing drum and bass vinyl at nearby house parties or imagining herself on horseback being out in the wild.
